Why do we trawl through the reviews in magazines and newspapers?
Is it because we want recommendations? Do we want
to know what's popular? Is it reassurance we want?
Maybe, but any review will be subjective, it will always be the
reviewers opinion.
Creative Criticism does not seek to decide how good or bad a piece of art is, it serves a more
generous purpose: the imaginative engagement of an individual with the arts.
